Every past time,we realize the scarcity of the water resourses in our country more obviously.The amount of rains are getting little and little.Also the greens become rare.In that case,we don't even care instead of forming a set of rules to make the forests,naturally the water resourses,more and more.I think the simplest thing is planting trees.It will make our hood both nice and healthy.The second thing to do is making people conscious about the stiuation.

Having friends from different culture is one of the best thing in the world.Because each person means a different style ,culture,country.Each one thinks different.They all say aword in a different way.So it means that you can learn many things from them.They can extend your point of view.For the sake of them, you can change your concept of life.For instance,what if you have an English and an Arabian friends in the same time?It would be exactly a fantastic experience.Because you are exposed to two totaly distinct culture.It will make you really a well_cultured person.

Does the weather effect the pyschological condition of the people in the world?If does, how?Yes it definitely has the affect on people.There are 4 seasons and each of them has a different affect.Firstly,in general spring awakes people.It makes people have the desire for life.So I think every spring means a new life.Summer is the follower of the spring.It doesn't have so many differences.It makes people feel good,too.All in all, if there is a sae, you must be happy.Secondly,autumn is the represantitive of love,especially the sade ended love.I don't know why,but I think that autumn makes the people emotional and sad.So in this season virtually everyone feels sth bad in themselves.When it comes to winter,I hate it.Winter is the worst season.People become depressive in it.Most of the time,you have to stay at home and watch the tv because of the bad weather conditions.So the best season is spring ,the worst is winter...

After the wheel,the telephone is considered by many to be greatest invention of all time.It allows instant ,direct comminication with virtually anyone,no matter where you are.The inventor of this method is Alexander Graham Bell,was born in Scotland in 1847.However,he spent most of his life in America , where he studied human speech in order to help the deaf.The development of the telephone was the indirect result of this research. The telephone was immediately successful after its apperance in the mid 1870s.Ten years after Bell had been provided a patent for his invention.Althoughit has been with us for over 100 years,its basic technology has changed very little . What has changed is the space over which the telephone can be effectively used.The long_distance problem has gradually been overcome over the years by using a number of different technologies including undersea cables and satellities.Today we tend to take the telephone for granted.We forget what an incredible device it really is.

Holding an executive positionis a significant achievement in terms of career.Reaching such a high position is usually the result of years of hard work.The main insentive for aiming for an executive position is the adventure of gaining extra power and responsibility.Addad to this ,an executive's salary is quite considerable and the privileges, such as a company car and a private office,can be attractive.However there are many drawbacks.The main one is the long hours a day ,six days a week and as a result their personel and social lives suffer.Executives also tend to suffer from stress and this ,combined with long hours and a generally unhealthy lifestyle,can affect their physicaland mental well_being.

I went to jazz concert last weekend.It was performed in German Culture Center. It was very successful worth to watch.The group was consisted of three people.Tweo of them were men and Turkish,the other one was girl and German.They shared the instruments.Gökhan was playing string instruments,Murat was playing percussion instruments,Annete was playing wind instruments.They were very harmonious and impressive.Also they were very sympathetic toward us which,I think results from the majority of the group members being Turkish.The other thing that made the atmosphere really nice was Annete because she loves Turkey very much.Murat also enjoyed people there by making complicated explanitions about the instruments.All in all, it was a perfect performance and I hope they will come back.

Almost all of you have seen the snow.But I haven't seen untill last week. For I was born and lived in Aydın,I hadn't seen snow.So I was very suprised to see snow for the first time.It must really enjoyable to play with it.For example,I really want to make a snow man because I think that will make me feel relaxed.So I will make it soon:D:D:D

I want to mention about the group Bridge ,in Türkish Köprü.It is the group of the people who takes scholarship from İstanbul Metu Graduated Assosication.Actually It is a real bridge beetwen village schools and METU.Every year the bridge group sets a library to a village school and the following year the group takes some of the students in that school and makes them visit Metu and the other decided places.In that time ,every student has the right to choose his or her sister or brother among the bridge members.They have personal relationship.The group members explain all the things they want . It may be about life ,üniversity,dreams about everything.The main aim of this group is making the students eager to study.Because usually the students coming from such villages are weak_spirited and their families also dosen't want education.So the group members mostly tackle with it.

I hate the place of the Faculty of Education and especially FLD.They are in a very bad location and their architectures are very simple compared to other buildings in METU.As you know the education language is English.However,the importance given to FLD and the students of it is very little!We can understand it from that example.All the students in METU consider FLD students as lazy students.I think for that reason,It is located almost in Eskisehir:D:D:D And also I want to add sth ,İt is erected later so I feel our department marginalized...

Should students take all the courses regardless of their branch?I think both departmental and nondepartmental courses are important for our education.Firstly,we should take the courses that are related to our department.In other words,they are some parts of our professional fields and we have to take these courses to make a good job.Furthermore,we should also take some courses that may not be related to our department.Because,a person can never be a real profession without knowing sth different from his or her field.A person should be sophisticated.But both departmental and nondepartmental courses should be selective.Students should be free to attend to the courses.And they should be free to elect the optional courses.And the students in nondepartmental courses shouldn’t be responsible for the exams.I think only in that way can students be happy and successful in the courses.

A lot of researches have been done over years to determine the impact that various colors have on the human mind.I want to mention about some of them.Firstly,Blue has a cool,cleansed,calm,relaxed,hopefull affect.Because we always associate blue with the sky.So it makes us feel calm .Brown is a direct color of nature so it gives off an earthan earth that brings comfort and support.However,fans of brown are known to keep emotions to themselvesand retreat from fear of the real word.These people suffer from lack of self_worth.Orange is widely known as the attention grabber and the stimulator of the mind and the body..Orange is an antidepressant color that lifts the sprit by giving off feeling of security,warmth,joy,humourand independence.When it comes to purple,it is a color of mixed messages coming from both red and blue.Purple mostly associated with those who are sexy,powerfull,and sophisticated.The most powerfull color among all the colors is red because of its ability to stimulate the heart and blood circulation so that it raises heart rates.Studies show that people who like wearing red are ambitious and want things to happen as soon as they utter.They want to be best.Actually,if you make a habit of wearing red,it may indicate that you place importance on sexual desire and eroticism.

I was bored.I tried to enjoy by listening some music.And I put my headphone on ,wore my glasses , took a book and went out.I went to a park.There were flowers and the weather was nice.I saw a seat among the flowers.I sat on it and started to read my book.After a while ,I was engrossed.Just in that moment,my mobile phone rang.It was my friend .She asked where I was.When she learned that I was in the park ,she got crazy and said that she wrote on her notebook that we were planning to go to Metu.I was shocked to hear it and immediately I went back to my home and weared sth else.After I took my bag and computer with me,I was ready to meet with her.We met and set off together.Our aim was to see the Ufo in Metu which is a kind of museum that looks like an real Ufo.After a curious glance ,we entered it and walked in front of the things that are shown there accompanied by a slow music composed by trombones.Among the things we saw ,there were some pieces that took my attention.One of them was the wand headed with a mouse!And another one was a tool shaped in a baby that wears a coat while showing it is rainy.It was very amazing tool to use in weather reports.I want to say that it was very enjoyable to see

Do people fall in love in first sight? I think,they don’t.They are only affected by the beauty,so we can’t say that it is love in the first sight.Because ,for normal people love should be a very different thing that should cover beauty,ambition,amity .But in such situations ,you don’t know even the character of the person you see .So it can’t or shouldn’t be love………For example,when we see a handsome boy, we say ”oo he is very handsome and even feel sth special towards him.But after a while ,we see his some bad characteristic features and naturally we begin to feel cool towards him.So desire can’t come into being.With this example,I want to show you that in the first sight, the only important thing is external apperance.Without the other things that I said before ,it is impossible to love somebody sincerely.To sum up ,I don’t believe it so much……..

Praat is the program we use in our listening and pronounciation course and I hate it.It has prounciations and the diagrams of them.You have to do the most similar one to the diagrams.So It has the capacity to make people get crazy.It has so many bad sides in fact.For example ,you can struggle with it for 7 hours for only the assigment of a week.What's more ,even that time most probably you can't have good results.So it turns out to be a big failure.To make the matters worse,it doesn't make any good for us..Because as you know English doesn't have only one correct way of prounciation and along with this ,the difference between the voıce of men and women creates problem. And when all of these awfull things combine ,there occurs sth unbearable ............

This week I want to tell you our both thought provoking and funny experience on monday .We were neslihan helin and me.The day was normal untill the moment that we decided to go out for three things.The most important one was Neslihan's taking objection for the scholarship of Odtü.But there was a problem.We didn't know the exact time of closing of the office .Morever, we even didn't know the place of the office and we had to hurry.In this rush,we were looking for a person to ask the office .We decided on a boy but it was some kind of failure.Because he answered us by saying that '' I don't know Turkish ,I dooon't'' .After this reply we laughed for minutes.And then we tried to ask again ,but this time to a girl ( to make change:)) Surprisingly ,this girl was also foreign and she also answered us by saying'' I don't know Turkish ''. This time was also very funny.After that time we have begin to ask the questions to ourselves '' why can't we speak Turkish in our country with everyone '' and '' why they don't know any word of our language while living and studying in our country?''.And also I want to ask these questions to you ''why?????''..........................

One of the biggest problem of the world is undoubtly terrorism.The reason why we have such a problem as terrorism is obvious.The answer of it is the uneducated generation.Maybe you will say that our education system is good,at least it isn't so bad to make people terrorist.But it isn't effective actually.That is,we can't educate our students well.And they don't know the importance of the hometown.Most importantly, we don't see our country as a whole with the differences among the people in it.So terrorism can occur easily.Also one of the main reason for terrorism is the financial stiuation of the individuals. If it is good you can easily cope with the terrorism.Because in that case people won't fell the need to attend to the groups of terrorist.So initally we should solve the financial and educational problems of our country

To be a student in ODTU......It is really good.But sometimes you say that ''ooo is it ODTU'' that we desired for years and studied very much for ?Yes, actually it is ODTU .Especially when you are in the ring,the free bus in ODTU, you usually wish that you were in Hacettepe in stead of ODTU.Because you without exaggeration get into the bus like sardiness.And always there are some people who want to go to the departments afoot even near the bus door.And you start to get mad from this moment.What's more ,a bus driver always says ''hocaaaaaam butun kapılar aynı yere gıdıyooooooooo cık cık cık Allahım ''.That moment all the people laugh everytime this event takes places.The strange thing is the driver says the same all the time without any change . To make the matters worse,when you are waiting for the ring in the early hours of the morning, an old man shows three dogs around in the car everymorning .The irony is hier: we are as human being pinched with cold,the three dogs go to see the hood.It really offends me.One more thing that I want to add to these opprobrium is that I hate the people that pass in front of me while I am waiting for the ring.I think the best thing to say in this moment is ''parasızlıgın gözü kör olsun hocam''.So that's enough for ODTU.To sum up,it is very nice to be a student in ODTU inspite of all these funny things.

Many problems are facen with when learning a foreign language.Because of the differences between the languages , as learners of languages we have difficulties in understanding the rules and logic of languages.If you think for a while and ask the question that ''what kind of differences do people have? '', I can say many things.Firstly,there is a huge logic problem between the languages.For example,while some languages label things as female or male,others don't.Or while a language can call a crowd according to their having a man ,others don't.Morever,the generation of words changes according to the languages.Some of them generates words by adding appendix only to the end of the word.But some of them generates words by adding appendix both to the end of the word and beginning.The matters go so .Still, It is worth learning a language

Needless to say,teachers have an unbelievable effect on us both in good and bad way.Firstly;we can say that teachers are some kind of guides in our lives.They help us from the beginning of the education in schools to the higest level of learning.Morever;sometimes they can be more patient than all the other people in our life.Also ,because of us unfortunately they may be less interested in their own from time to time.Secondly,they are important in our life when defining our future or choosing our job or sth.like these.However;if we don’t love a teacher we will become cool towards the branch the teacher is interested in.So,while having capacity to achieve the goalsin the branch,we can tend to another branch which we can be less successful in.To make the matters worse;even we may not want to go school because of the teacher that we don’t love.To sum up I want to say that teachers are important to make a good decision in our life

It is very nice to be a student in a foreign language department.I don't know whether it is because I love to learn different cultures and languages or not.But I know that it is very different from the other branches.Because when you are learning a different language , also you learn a different culture and different people.Meanwhile,your culture improves.Because in such stiuations people don't care about their financial positions,jobs,political views etc.And it makes them communicate easily.Maybe I love that side of learning foreign language.To sum up ,everyone should learn at least one language to experience the beauty of it.
